This page hosts access to recordings of past training sessions held on topics related to teaching and learning in the online environment.It will be updated as more recordings become available. Please note in order to access the Microsoft Stream recordings, you will need to use a valid UWindsor account. Microsoft Stream recordings include edited content in addition to captions for accessibility and linked timestamps for interactivity. Blackboard Collaborate Ultra recordings are accessible to anyone outside of the University of Windsor community; however, there is no captions for these recordings at this time.

In this Sprint Session, Steve Karamatos (Manager, Technology & Innovation - IT Services) explores the capabilities of MS Teams to manage live chats, do collaborative document sharing, conduct virtual sessions, schedule meetings, do presentations, and control who can join in sessions. There is a mobile app to keep you informed as well as a desktop app, rich with features. Also, you can access online with other tools in the Office 365 tool group.While not a substitute for Blackboard, MS Teams can enhance your use of Blackboard and will be available as a pilot project for the Spring/Intersession for selected instructors.

Using the Virtual Classroom

Do you need to record a lecture/webinar? Do you need to meet with students online (as a group or privately) Mark Lubrick (Online Learning Design Specialist - Office of Open Learning)provides an overview of what the virtual classroom (Blackboard Collaborate Ultra) can handle and more. Best of all, it is available in every Blackboard site or can be set up outside of Blackboard and is free for faculty, staff, and students to use.

Deploying and Grading your Test

You have a test built for your students to write…now what?
